Art and fashion came together at the Muse Collection fashion show, held at the Fashion Bar in Water Tower Place on March 6th. Among the highlights of the night was artist Lori Hammer, who had abstract, dot-filled artwork.
Lori, who has been creating art since the 1980s, showcased six striking pieces, ranging from small intimate works to larger statement pieces. Her artwork, often inspired by people she observes in the city. “I like capturing everyday moments and the energy of people” she explained ahead of the event.
Guests mingled among the fashion-forward crowd, admiring the synergy between Lori’s art and the designer collections on display. “Her work really stood out,” said attendee Daniel Ruiz, a local friend . “It felt like the paintings were telling stories alongside the fashion.”
The Muse Collection show brought together the art and fashion communities, highlighting creativity across disciplines. Lori’s next exhibition is expected to draw further interest as her work gains recognition in the art world.
